Interior Painting in Cary, NC

Room repaints, trim, ceilings and accent walls with the prep work done properly first.

Freshly painted bright living room with white trim and built-in shelving

Paint is the least expensive way to change how a room feels, and it is also the easiest project to get wrong. Most disappointing paint jobs come down to prep: surfaces that were not cleaned, holes that were skimmed instead of repaired, and trim lines cut in a hurry.

Because we do repair work as well as painting, we can fix the wall before we finish it. Nail pops, patched drywall, gaps in trim and caulk lines are handled as part of the same project instead of being painted over.

Common Problems We Solve

  • Scuffed hallways and stairwells that no longer clean up with a sponge
  • Rooms carrying a previous owner's color choices
  • Trim and doors that have yellowed or chipped
  • Patched walls where the repair reads through the paint
  • Ceilings marked by old stains or uneven touch-up work
  • Accent walls and paneling that need a different sheen or approach than flat wall area

What the Work Includes

  • Full room repaints including walls, ceilings and trim
  • Accent walls, paneling and wainscoting finishing
  • Trim, baseboard, casing and interior door painting
  • Ceiling painting and stain-blocking primer where needed
  • Surface prep: cleaning, sanding, patching, caulking and priming
  • Cabinet and built-in finishing on a case-by-case basis
  • Rental turnover and pre-listing repaints

How the Process Works

Step 1

Confirm colors and sheen

We talk through color, sheen and how many coats the change in color will realistically need before the estimate is finalized.

Step 2

Protect and prep

Furniture is moved or covered, floors are protected, and surfaces are cleaned, sanded and patched. This is where most of the labor actually goes.

Step 3

Prime where it matters

Repairs, bare surfaces, stains and dramatic color changes get primer so the finish coat behaves consistently across the wall.

Step 4

Paint and inspect

Coats are applied and then reviewed in daylight with you, so anything that needs another pass gets one before we pack up.

Interior Painting FAQs

Do you help choose paint colors?

We are happy to talk through options and how a color will read in your lighting, but the final color choice stays with you. Sampling on the actual wall is always worth the extra day.

Is wall repair included in painting work?

Standard prep such as filling nail holes, caulking and light sanding is included. Larger drywall repairs are quoted as part of the job so you can see what the repair portion costs.

Do I need to move all my furniture?

No. We move and cover what is in the room as part of the work. Clearing small items, wall art and breakables ahead of time helps the crew start faster.

Can you paint occupied homes?

Yes. Most of our interior painting happens in occupied homes, and we sequence rooms so you keep usable space throughout the project.
