The Challenge
The entry had no dedicated place for coats, bags and shoes, so everyday items collected on the floor and nearby surfaces.
Work Completed
- Planned the layout around the available wall and door swing
- Built the bench base and seat
- Installed vertical dividers, upper shelf and cubbies
- Mounted hooks at usable heights
- Filled, caulked and painted the built-in

The Result
The entry now has a specific spot for each of the things that used to pile up, and the built-in reads as part of the house rather than added furniture.
